If you have been wondering if truly givers never lack, well, you might need to answer that for yourself at the end of today's content. Personally, I have always heard that saying from a lot of folks around me but what gave me concerns the most was the fact that though they say things like that, they never practiced it, and for those who practiced it, they do not lack it. Yea! They never lacked. Giving does not exactly make you rich, but you do not lack either. If I am confusing you right now, you might have to check up the meaning of lack dear. In fact, I am going to make this easy for you! Lack simply means the state of being without or not having enough of something. You cannot be a true giver, and then you lack whatever you have given at the end of the day, sometimes you even get it in folds, and sometimes you get it other ways. Before I mention a scenario about how my giving has returned back to me in folds, I first have to talk about the fine man(obviously my dad😂) who has taught me how to give and also the principles of giving.

“He who obtains has little. He who scatters has much.”

My dad has always taught my siblings and me to always give, and he is one person that shows himself as an example. My dad told us a “givers never lack" story. He told us that, at his place of work, they give gifts to their staff at the end of every month and that there was this particular umbrella they give to only the bosses at the organization because it was expensive. He said fortunately for him, his boss got two of those umbrellas and decided to give him one. He was so happy that even on his way to church for an evening service that day, he kept saying Thank you Lord for this gift because he felt it would have been God, for him to have received a gift like that from a boss that has never given him anything. Well, after the evening service at church, the pastor walked to him and said, the rain these days has been disturbing and that if he could get an umbrella, he would be grateful. My dad remembered he had just been given one but said within himself that he would rather help the pastor purchase one. So he told the pastor that he would get him one the next day. On getting to the car, he was unsettled. Something kept telling him to give that precious umbrella to the pastor and even though it was the hardest thing to do, he did it. Well, guys according to my dad, the following week, the umbrella was in excess and the office gave him three of those umbrellas as a gift. GIVERS NEVER LACK!

Heyyyy you can't leave without hearing my own sides of the story. So I will be sharing briefly a “givers never lack" story( it's a thing? Yeaaaa😎). Last year I was just about preparing for a university that was to resume in January and I visited my uncle's place just before the year ran out, just to say hi you know. My cousins kept insisting I give them some of my clothes and I didn't want to because most of them were clothes I have gotten just recently(like bruhs I just got this clothesss😭) but they kept insisting and I just zeroed my mind and said pick whatever clothes you want😎. It was a hard decision I must say but I felt I was going to get new ones just before school's resumption but I was wrong. Unfortunately, my parents were like we have spent so much lately, you have to deal with whatever you have. I was sad and I must say I had a few regrets hanging up somewhere in my head literarily. I went to school with just a few clothing and I guess I just managed you know. Well, I didn't even realize I had gotten back in folds until recently I start to realize I have had more clothes compared to what I have given out the previous year. I mean, the majority were gifts and some were clothes I bought a few times. Definitely, GIVERS NEVER LACK!

If only we decide to help one another in giving (not necessarily money only), the world will be a little percent more comfortable than it is right now. Start practicing the act of giving today and I believe the world would be in a better place.

Please kindly share in the comment section, ways you've reaped from giving and you might just be encouraging a fellow. I love you guys with all of my heart as always💕.
