Hey guys, today's blog is something really different and I'm feeling really happy to share this content because personally it has inspired me. Last week, I had a urge to tell people some few things I have experienced and how it has affected me. 

I'm an over thinker and I think that has made a lot of things more dramatic for me. There are times I think all a guy wants from me is sex and that bugs me really badly. I'm someone who wants to fall in love in the old fashioned way, just unexpectedly and fascinating as well. I know it's weird but it's the fact. I want to meet someone that changes my whole mindset about love and relationships. But over time I have realized that I have to put in some works as well. In my attempt of working on myself,  I discovered that sometimes being scared rubs me of every hope that I have for a relationship and I don't want people to go through those messy stuffs.

Firstly, I'm not someone who has had past successful relationship so I decided to bring my best guys in that field. I believe through their stories you would learn how others feel in a relationship apart from your own horror stories like mine. Lol😂.

Ebunoluwa: Trust me when I say she is lovable. She is a really jovial person and loves talking too. Yea! Ebun has been able to keep her relationship in check and I hope you get inspired by her.

Lanre: Guys! Lanre has to be the most generous person I have ever met. He has the sweetest heart and he is damn hilarious. Lanre is in a relationship that has gone through so much and he has made it this far. I bet he didn't see himself coming this far but I think by now we should all know that love isn't predictable.

Ebunoluwa: I'm Afolabi Ebunoluwa ( also known as drip goddess). I'm a student of Afe Babalola University, 200 level.

Lanre: I'm Ajana lanre. I'm a passionate and professional footballer and a business man. I play for Dubai city @ UAE.


So guys do you believe in true love?
Lanre: oh yea! I believe in true love. Well looking back at how far my relationship have gone, I truly believe in that saying “ true love never dies".

Ebunoluwa: Yea I believe in true love because that's definitely what I'm experiencing right now.


How old is your relationship?

Ebunoluwa: My relationship is 2 months old.

Lanre: My relationship is 2 years old.

What Does An Ideal Relationship Mean To You?
Ebunoluwa:  Relationship is about commitment, and relationship is subjective. A relationship should be governed on the terms of the couples and not the terms of the world . But my idea of an ideal relationship as to this time being is , commitment, connection  and sharing . I believe that in my relationship I should be able to commit to my partner and this  commitment leads to sharing. Sharing in the sense that, the both of us should be able to share ideas , gifts , time , love,etc with each other. In my aspect of contentment, I believe one of the strong pillars of an ideal relationship is contentment. I know humans are insatiable but as partners I should be majorly satisfied with what my partner has to offer with literally everything, looks , attention , money ,etc and he should be contented with whatever I also have to offer. If not the stance of the commitment might become weak . But regardless my partner and I should love each other very much. In the case of connection, partners should be able to connect to each other regardless of what’s going on. So yea that's an ideal relationship to me.

Lanre: People go into relationships with different reasons and everyone has an idea on how they expect their relationships to turn out. Well, my idea relationship has to be a relationship with a partner that shares a bright future with me. A partner that will help me grow into becoming the best version of myself. I don't exactly expect to see this quality at first sight but it's what I hope to look out for.



What's that first thing that attracts you to someone?

Lanre: Well, as a guy it’s her character. That's the main thing for me and then her looks can as well follow. 

Ebunoluwa:  It has to be his appearance (Outfit, face, Scent). Then when we talk I get to know how smart the he is and that attracts me as well.


Is sex a 100% criteria in a relationship?
 
Ebunoluwa: Like I said earlier, a criteria in a relationship depends on the couples terms . So I believe that's on the couples. To me, it's not necessarily a criteria but it strengthens the bond in its own way.

Lanre: Hmmm.



What's that one quality you look out for in a partner?

Lanre: Well, her insight. The plan is to be with someone that brings the best in me and so I always look at for someone who has the capability.

Ebunoluwa: I really don’t know.


When you go into a relationship, what are your goals...like what are your expectations?

Ebunoluwa: To become better in everything. To step up!

Lanre: My goal is to tell her when I’m 90 years old that “WE MADE IT BABE"


What are your advice to guys who would love to be in a relationship but are scared to go into one due to past hurts and fears?

Lanre: Seriously I don’t have any advice for guys. The only thing I’ll say is ....no go catch fish wey big pass you so that you’ll not end up in the fish stomach. Lol!

Ebunoluwa:  I would advice that you free your mind and allow just positivity take control. And if at the end of the day it turns into something negative. You shouldn’t regret it but take it as a lesson learnt and what was just meant to be. And you don't have to beat yourself up for it .


So yea, what does love mean to you guys🤗?

Ebunoluwa: Lol. That's one thing I’m still struggling to explain with words. I really don't know what love means I can only feel it .

Lanre: Well, God is love and love is God. and I also feel that love is when you help others generously.



Would you rather be single or in a relationship🥁🥁🥁?
Lanre:  Seriously I wish i was single.

Ebunoluwa: I'd rather be in a relationship.


There you have it guys! I believe all you need, is to do what makes you happy. There ain't any perfect relationships but that doesn't mean there are no happy relationships. Do what you're comfortable with, you don't have to compare your relationship to anyone's and do not be scared to be in one as well especially when you feel good about it. Trust me everything else will fall in place as long as you're happy and comfortable. Being happy is everything!

If you think showing a little skin is all that keeps a man, you're very wrong. It isn't always about the sex, it's about having the right person by your side always. AND HEY! BE HAPPY!
